For Group Facilitators

The purpose of the Encounter Study is to create an environment where participants can easily encounter the Spirit of God through his word--written and spoken. Without God’s presence, the Encounter Study won’t work. Though Scripture is studied as part of the process, the study is never intended to become focused on intellectual study or dependent on the personality of a leader. Every step of the process is built to facilitate opportunities to go deeper into God’s presence. How much we are seeing participants stepping into encounter should be the measure of success for each gathering.

This means that anyone can lead a group, as long as they are comfortable surrendering control to the Holy Spirit and space to each member of the group. We believe these tools will help launch movements all around the earth, and we will know that's happening once our groups are launching groups that are launching groups that are launching groups.
